List of New Approved Ordinances Pending Codification 

The following newly approved ordinances are pending codification or incorporation into the City of Titusville’s Code of Ordinances Volumes I and II and Technical Manuals. 

A. Ordinance No. 29-2023 - White/Chaffee Planned Industrial Development - Amending the City’s Land Development Regulations (LDRs) to amend standards within the Planned Industrial Development (PID) zoning district for specified properties within the North Brevard Industrial Park and along Chaffee Drive by amending specified permitted uses with limitations, specifically amending Sections 28-54 “Use Table”, 28-97 “Automobile Repair”, 28-203 “Building Trades Services”, 28-211 “Machine Shop”, 28-212 “Mechanical Service and Repair”, and Section 28-364 “Outdoor Storage (As an accessory use)”; providing for severability; repeal of conflicting ordinances, effective date, and incorporation into the code.  (On July 25, 2023, Council approved Ordinance No. 29, 2023, as recommended)

B. Ordinance No. 30-2023 Repealing Section No. 11-379 "Solicitation on Right-of-Way" - Repealing Section 11-379 of the Code of Ordinances "Solicitation on right of way" and utilize Brevard County's Ordinance 2022-12 to prohibit persons from interfering or impacting the safe and efficient movement of vehicular traffic. 

(On August 8, 2023, Council approved Ordinance No. 30-2023, as recommended)


C. Ordinance No. 39-2023 - amending the schedule of fees for Water and Sewer service by increasing the charges and rates. (On September 21, 2023, Council approved Ordinance No. 39-2023, as recommended)

D. Ordinance No. 40-2023 - amending Sections 16-116 and 16-117 of the Code of Ordinances by increasing the Solid Waste service charges and rates. (On September 21, 2023, Council approved Ordinance No. 40-2023, as recommended)

E. Ordinance No. 45-2023 - Amendment to Chapter 15, Pensions and Retirement, Article II, General Employees' Pension Plan - Amending Chapter 15, Pensions and Retirement, Article II, General Employees' Pension Plan, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Titusville; amending Section 15-26, Definitions; amending Section 15-28, Contributions, amending Section 15-105, Benefits Effective August 26, 2013; amending Section 15-106, Minimum Distribution of Benefits, Providing for Compliance with the Secure 2.0 Act; amending Section 15-110, Deferred Retirement Option Plan; Repealing all Ordinances in Conflict Herewith; and providing for Severability of Provisions and Providing an Effective Date. (On September 26, 2023, Council approved Ordinance No. 45-2023, as recommended). 

F. Ordinance No. 46 - 2023 - Amendment to Chapter 15, Pensions and Retirement, Article III, Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Plan - Amending Chapter 15, Pensions and Retirement, Article III, Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Plan; amending Section 15-126, Definitions; amending Section 15-191, Member Contributions; amending Section 15-211, Retirement Dates; amending Section 15-222, Benefits; amending Section 15-224, Minimum Distribution of Benefits, to provide for compliance with Secure 2.0 Act; amending Section 15-233, Deferred Retirement Option Plan; Repealing all Ordinances in Conflict Herewith; providing for Severability of Provisions and Providing an Effective Date. (On September 26, 2023, Council approved Ordinance No. 46-2023, as recommended).
